McCall's Winter Carnival

Each year the little resort town of McCall Idaho holds a Winter Carnival. It has become a big event here in the mountains. They are expecting 20,000 people this year. It runs from January 24th to February 2. Learn more here. The most beautiful part of the Carnival is the snow sculptures. Artists start working on them a week or so before the start of the Carnival and excitement starts brewing in the air of this little town. The first night of the Carnival there is a fireworks display that lights up the sky with anticipation for the rest of the week.

Pictures cannot do the Snow Sculptures justice. They are just amazing. There are around 25 nestled around the town.

The town did an amazing job of welcoming all the visitors with restaurants serving dishes for any taste, street vendors, bands, a parade and so much more. I recommend this event be on everyone's calendar.

Thanks for stopping by!

Peace!
