This I know for sure (line belongs to Oprah, but I use it all the TIME)! You cannot go wrong when you put together a black or monochromatic column and add to it for a pulled together look. It can be casual or dressy but it always makes you look and feel your best. As an example I put on a black turtleneck, black leggings, and black boots for my column then I added a striped sweater as an accent. For a different look I changed into a leopard tunic maintaining my column. Fun right?
