What I am waiting for.
This is a difficult time of year for a lot of people with the snow and cold and short days. I can feel the weight of impatience myself. Usually in February I am looking at spring fashion and starting to organize my closet even though it is a few months before I can wear warmer weather clothing. But this year, winter is hanging on to the bitter end it seems. I am too cold to even think about spring clothes. All I want to do is eat and sleep. If I can get outside to exercise it is random and not enough. So I started looking through my pictures from last summer to help me remember what is just around the corner and so worth the wait.
Sitting on the deck in the warm sun.
Baby birds just a few hours before they leave their nest for good.
Long walks.
Picking huckleberries for cakes and jams.
Canning pickles.
Tomatoes from my garden.
Summer clothes!
