Lumber Jackie & Birks?
The Rich Life on a Budget and Everything Just So are hosting their "How I Wear My" series this week and I wanted to join in. I haven't been doing much blogging this summer because I have been so busy, but this was my last chance to say much about sandals, the topic this month. Here in the mountains the nights are already dropping down into the 30s and the days are a glorious upper 60s or low 70s. So sandals are just about out for the season. I submitted this picture highlighting my Birkenstock sandals. For sandals that are in my opinion kind of masculine, I found a pair that seemed to have a feminine side.
Our labor day weekend was filled with home projects. We had a lot of fun just tackling things that we had been wanting to get done. We added cabinets to the wine room and organized our wines among other things.
One of our biggest projects was felling trees and splitting them in preparation for the fireplace this winter. It was so fun to be out in the mountain air, the sun shinning with a high of 65 degrees.
After a long day of Lumber Jacking we went out to a casual Mexican restaurant and enjoyed dinner. I decided that the day was cooling quickly and put on my Clark's Driving Moccasins. My jeans are Target, Flannel shirt (old), Vest (McPaws thrift shop, proceeds go to local dog shelter) and my shoes are Clarks from last year.
Stella has very little to no interest in the great outdoors.
Thanks for stopping by!
Peace.
