Goodbye Summer. Hello Autumn!

Our weather in the mountains of Idaho has been about as perfect as it can be. Right up to the last day of summer it was a lovely upper 70s in the day and mid 40s at night. The scent of pine is most strong this time of year and you feel like you live in what heaven must be like.

Dressing for this time of year is fun because you don't have to give up warm weather clothing but you can add cool weather elements. I love my white t-shirts in the summer but just bought the cutest pair of boots that I had to wear. I put together this relaxed outfit one evening. We were staying home and I was making a fall like dinner, Butternut Squash Soup with Chipotle Cream.

These boots are so comfortable!

Summer elements: Skirt and White T. Autumn elements: Dark denim jacket and boots.

The summer elements of this outfit are the red maxi skirt and the white t. The autumn elements are the dark denim jacket and the boots. The wine is a year around refreshment and accessory!

Very comfy outfit.

The denim jacket is form Costco, last year. The red maxi skirt is form Windsor, last year. The white-t shirt is from The Loft last spring, and the boots are Sole Society from Nordstrom. The boots are out of stock right now but as soon as they are back, I am getting them in black also They are that comfortable.

Boot season is here!

I love Autumn. I love fashion which a famous designer once said is really just art that you wear. I am not sure which designer said this but I agree!
