Everyday is a Special Day

Today has been a busy day so far. Outside of my normal work I have been spending way too much time putting up outdoor Christmas lights. I'm trying to get them up before the snow falls because once it starts I may not be able to get out to hang them. For a break I plan to check out the local thrift shop for holiday decorations. We are hosting our local chapter of the Idaho Aviation Association Christmas party this year and I need a few extra touches of holiday spirit! It was only about 24 degrees this morning so I dug into the sweaters I pulled out of the closet yesterday in preparation for the cold days ahead. I ran across this cardigan and thought it would be fun and cozy for the day. I added the ultimate staple white t shirt, scarf and a pair of OTK boots. I love these boots because I can pull them up over my knees or scrunch them down. Its like several boots in one. I also decided yesterday to use some of my handbags that I am always saving for a special occasion. But really what is more special than waking up in the country with crisp fresh air and beauty all around? Thus a pop of color for my OOTD! Speaking of snow, it is now coming down. They say we will get an inch, we'll see if it sticks.

Thanks for stopping by!

Peace!

I am always so excited when I get comments and very appreciative! If you ever want to know where I got anything I am wearing or showing, just let me know and I will get right back to you!
