On the town. . .

My husband asked me if I wanted to go out for a bite to eat tonight (Friday) and we decided we would go to one of our favorite places, The Bistro. It is a very small wine bar where most of the seating is outside. They serve wonderful sandwiches and salads. The place is in the middle of our little mountain town but there are trees all around so you feel like you are in a secluded area.

For the occasion I wore some of my favorite things. First, the softest thermal over-sized, high-low top I have ever owned (not owned any so, never mind). I wish I had this top in multiple colors, it is so cute and even more comfortable than it is cute. Second, is my fall scarf with the colorful feathers. Third are my skinny but stretchy jeans and fourth, my wedge booties which I have declared are my go-to footwear for the season. These sweet babies will go with everything from skinny jeans, to flares to dresses and the heel is only 2.5 inches so they are comfortable. They hit right at the smallest part of the ankle which seems to lengthen rather than shorten the look of legs.

It was starting to cloud up so I took pictures inside. I am not a photographer so taking even a halfway good picture is not going to happen for this blog. My camera was purchased in 2000 and my tripod has a broken leg which I have taped but it is still shorter so I have to put the short leg on the back and point the camera down a little! I find this all very amusing. This whole blog is fun for me and I don't take it too seriously.

Today I went and picked up more fabric to make pillows for my sofas to accent the curtains I made for the bar seen a couple of pictures above. I have been doing a little decorating the last couple of weeks and it has been fun to get out the paint brush and sewing machine,

Thanks for stopping by!

Peace!
