Today I woke up and got my regular work done early because I had to go get my flu shot and go for a run. I got the four strain shot so hopefully I am covered for the season. It was raining after I got my shot so I got to do my run in the rain. I love to run in the rain. After an exuberant three miles I headed home to get ready for a photo shoot. My husband got me a new camera and I am loving it so much! Since it was raining I wanted to wear my Hunter boots so I built my outfit around them. Skinny jeans, black and white striped t-shirt and a black field vest seemed perfect for a chilly wet day in the mountains. I had to carry my a leopard bag if I was going to wear red and stripes! Go figure.

In a couple of weeks I am traveling to the mid west to see my grandson. It is our special tradition that I always spend the week of Halloween with him. He always picks our costumes and it is the sweetest week of my life. Last year we were Pirates, this year he wants us to be Ninja Turtles! We have so much fun and it means the world to me. We bake, go to a big farm and feed goats, we go to the pumpkin patch and have a week filled with fun. He sleeps with me each night and I read him a book. He picks the same book every night, then we watch the Muppet show on my phone until he says, "Coco (he calls me Coco and we don't know why) its time to go to sleep." So I turn off my phone and we go to sleep. The big event each year is our foot races. We go to the park and race. I let him win most of the time but once in a while I win, because I know the day will come when he really will be able to out run me!
