OOTD: Boise Home and Flower Show

On Friday this week, I am going down to Boise to meet up with my friend to go to the Home and Flower show. This is one of our traditions, each spring, we go to see all the new trends in homes and gardens. We have lunch and often throw in a little shopping. It is full blown spring in Boise now, so I can wear something to fit the occasion. I knew I wanted to wear white skinny jeans and carry a small over the shoulder bag in an off white. I needed something contrasting so decided on a fun Lucky brand top. Early in the day it will be chilly so I had two options for jackets. A faux leather cream jacket or a dark denim jacket. For shoes I thought I would wear wedges to lunch and then switch over to a pair of two-toned flats for shopping and walking around the show. I couldn't get a picture that would do justice for the cream jacket. It is sooo cute though, and the gold trim in the zippers matched the gold accents in my jewelry, bag and shoes. The denim jacket photographed as well as I could do with almost no sunlight but it was a great look. I loved the look with both the flats and the wedges. My favorite look was without a jacket. It had the casual, comfortable feel I was going for.

If you haven't' taken my survey yet, found at the top left of this post, I would love it if you would check it out. It will end on March 28th and then I will share the results with you. I am kind of surprised by some of the things I have learned so far. My overall goal is to make your experience visiting my blog more enjoyable!

Thanks for stopping by!

Peace!
