My holiday weekend has been so wonderful. My family has been here since Friday and we have been celebrating with little excursions around town, to the lake, boat rides, cooking, eating, toasting and being grateful for family time together.

We had to travel a couple of hours to Boise to pick up family at the air port on Friday and I knew it was going to be hot. It was predicted, close to 100 degrees. I decided to wear shorts with a white t-shirt and sandals. I added a boat hat and light duster for extra protection from the sun and chilly indoor areas. I carried my beautiful white tassel bucket bag. This bag has been a summer necessity. I loved the neutral colors of this outfit. It seemed so cool, casual and summery. I never wear gold jewelry but my parents got this beautiful gold necklace for my birthday. It is heavy, shaped like a dog tag with a tiny diamond chip. It is so simple, classic and my style and it went with the gold accents on my shoes and bag. It all came together just right.
