I'm getting excited for the fall season to arrive. I am dreaming about all my scarves and how I can use them to transition from one season to the next. Today, I am wearing a square scarf two ways, around my neck and around my waist. I love both looks! I decided to use a white column for the base of my outfit, added my most colorful square scarf and sandals that had just a pop of the color in the scarf. A neutral straw bag didn't detract from the outfit so I went with that. My mind is racing with ways to use my warmer scarves this fall and winter. Scarves can take the most basic outfit and make it stand out. If you want to update your wardrobe without spending a lot, scarves are the way to do it. How do you like to wear scarves?
In other news, I ran another 5K a couple of weeks ago. It was called the Huckleberry Trott and raised money for charity. I didn't think I was running competively but they tracked us as we came in and I ended up winning 1st place in my category. It was a beautiful day to be running in the mountains and I think everyone had a lot of fun! My next 5K is in September and I can't wait!
