Coat & Boot Fashion in the Mountains

There's not a lot you can say about dressing for the cold mountain weather. If you are going outside, it is all about function. I try my best to put a little pizzazz into it but what are you going to do? Luckily, staying warm is a lot more fashionable than it used to be, with great puffer coats and fabulously cute boots. And I am a big fan of beanies of all colors and styles.

Here, I am wearing a puffer coast that is warm but not too bulky or heavy. I really love this coat! It is a dark navy color which is a nice change from black. It also comes in olive. The faux fur on the hood is removable. It has lots of fun pockets and works great with taller boots so you are not over powered by coat and boots. These pictures were taken back in mid December when we still didn't have a lot of snow. Since then we have gotten more snow but the worst has been the bone chilling temperatures this year.

Thanks for stopping by!

Peace!
