When I first moved to Arizona back in 1996, I didn't know what to expect. I had heard it was hot and knew it was a desert but other than that, I had only visited a few times. As I drove into the outskirts of the city I immediately fell in love with the landscape and peaceful feeling I had my first night. I guess people either love it or hate it but I loved the wide open landscape, the cacti and the color of sunsets. 

This cardigan makes me think of the colors of the desert, the sunsets, the cactus flowers when they bloom and the colorful plants all around. I wore it with a t-shirt, jeans and booties. It seemed to fit nicely into my environment. I got the cardigan at Ross on clearance so it was a great deal. Everything else is older.
