Showing Less Saying More

It has finally warmed up here in Arizona and I am enjoying it so much! I keep gravitating toward colorful outfits. This dress is a comfortable knit and I plan to wear it with white sneakers once in a while for a really casual look.

This outfit made me think about how sometimes the less you show, the more you say. The only skin you see is my lower leg but this outfit says to me, that I am alive, feeling good and ready to take on anything that comes my way.

I love orange and this dress from Ross has lots of the orange family happening. My newly discovered trick of taming horizontal stripes with a solid jacket or sweater was used with this denim jacket also from Ross. The booties from (guess?), Ross, were a perfect neutral for the outfit. I love a neutral shoe with a longer dress because it seems to elongate the legs. I wore my beautiful Mexican Fire Opal necklace for more orange color and carried a cream Dooney & Bourke crossbody bag.
