MY OUTFIT

This outfit was built upon my blue suede booties. I got these last year when blue shoes were very trendy and I am so glad I did because I am still loving the look. I wore a pair of jeans, a camisole, a cocoon cardigan and a fisherman's hat for this look. I carried a clutch and wore my Amber necklace.

If you have been reading my blog you will have noticed I have been wearing different pieces of amber for the last several posts. I talk about how much this is my favorite stone often and recently have been having fun wearing some of the pieces of my collection. Each piece is special to me because they were purchased while on different Mexico vacations with my husband.

ABOUT BLOGGING

I am a bit of a type A person. I have worked my whole life and everything I have taken on, I have been very serious about doing it right. Needless to say, I have never done much, just for fun, for me. And then along came blogging. For the first time in my life, I have a hobby. I used to be in awe of people who found time for a hobby and really believed my personality was such that I would never have one. But never say never because now I have a hobby that I love and that brings me simple joy. It encompasses so many things that I enjoy, mostly art. I am not good at any of it but I love creating outfits, taking photos and putting it all into a blog. I adore cooking and home making too and really want to get more into that at some point. That means there is no end to this happy place of mine.
