Valentine's Day Dress

www.northwestmountainliving.com

We will be traveling on Valentines Day so we won't be doing much formal celebrating. We usually don't do much anyway trying not to be pushed into the unrealistic expectations by a commercial holiday. We will celebrate the fact the we are healthy, happy and together but we try to do that every day.

Even though I try not to fall into the trappings of holidays, I  love all the pretty spring-like romantic dresses promoted during this season. This dress is a Ross find, and even though it is not full of Valentine's Day pinks or reds, it just looked sweet, gentle and romantic and there's nothing wrong with those sentiments. I styled it with open toed booties and carried a lovely vintage designer clutch which was a recent thrift find.

The bag is a Inge Christopher design. I looked her up on line and she has made beautiful clutches for years. So beautiful that many celebrities carry them on the red carpets and and to formal events. I was not familiar with this designer when I spotted the bag but I could tell it was quality. It is made of satin with beautiful bead work. It is in almost perfect condition and I couldn't believe my good luck in finding this treasure!

Thanks for stopping by!

Peace!
