The Scoop

This really is one of my favorite outfits of all time. I couldn't think of what to wear, so I thought why not just go basic. You can never go wrong with black jeans, white shirt and denim jacket. All basic pieces that work perfect together. For a little pizzazz I added a leopard belt. I am so ready for spring and decided it is frame of mind when you live in so much snow so I grabbed a bright red bag and pulled out a colorful spring scarf to tie to it. I always think my signature necklace goes with every thing so I wore it and went for the comfort of low heeled booties. Wow! I forgot how great basics can work and why we can them BASICS!

A Tip

I think playing around with sleeves is a way to add distinction to your style. When wearing a shirt under a jacket, I like the underneath layer to peek out. I love to roll up the jacket sleeve a little or a lot, what ever looks appealing. It's just a little detail that can make a lot of difference.

My Look

I’m wearing a pair of 7 For All Mankind skinny jeans, with a Michael Kors leopard belt, a Loft white shirt, a denim jacket, low heeled booties and I’m carrying a Rebecca Minkoff bag which I tied a scarf to. I’m wearing my signature necklace that is a one of a kind and very old.
