Adding Florals to my Closet
Outfit details on my Boutique & Chatter page here.
When I was young, I was all about pink, ruffles and lace while I climbed trees, rode horses and went fishing. As I grew older I started thinking those feminine things were weak and childish and I moved to loving more bold colors and details like zippers, snaps and structure. I find myself once again being drawn to more feminine colors and details, like floral prints, lace and bell sleeves. I am still a little adverse to ruffles though. This top is a prefect summer color combined with flowers and bell sleeves and I adore it. These elements no longer make me feel weak, only stronger!
With this adorable floral top I wore my DIY uneven hem jeans, my favorite slides and carried a cherry red bag. I didn't feel like one piece of jewelry was needed! This is casual spring/summer style at its best!
How do you feel about feminine details and why?
