Love Of Lilac

It's a little challenging taking pictures in the mountains in spring. The clouds and rainy days seem to dominate the weather. I thought fresh spring colors would brighten the pictures so I wore a lilac cardigan by Free People, a J Crew top with greens, purples and pinks, 7 For All Mankind skinny jeans and spring staples of tan wedges and my Tory Burch tote.

If you have visited my home page you will see big changes. I've always thought my blog had a DIY look and there is nothing wrong with that but I have been looking for something more artistic for a long time. I wanted a modern look that would appeal to those who are visual as I am. I started to work on a redesign and within a few hours I had just what I have been trying to develop for a long time. I love how it turned out. It is a little different but I love different. Now if the sun would come out so I could get some pictures that fit the lively design, I will be extremely pleased!

Now I am off to make a Tuscon Stew with Polenta for Sunday dinner. This recipe it tried and true by me and one of my favorite cold rainy weather meals. An Upside Down Pineapple Cake will be made for dessert so I better get my running shoes out to work it all off.
