Winds of Summer
Summers in the mountains blow by fast and if you blink you can miss them. I try to take advantage of every single moment of sunshine and pine scent. This outfit is from last July and I can't wait to wear it again this year. I was so excited about the duster being trendy because even on the warmest days here, you might need just a little extra layer for warmth at some point in the day. It may hit 85 during the day which seems very hot here but the night's lows will always dip down to the 40s and 50s.
Today the sun is shinning and the snow is gone and we are working in our yard, setting up the deck and pulling out the grill and the smoker. We bought a bottle of Whistle Pig Rye Whiskey for the evenings when we sit out on the deck, sip on a drink and watch the brilliant stars. They seem so close here that you feel like you can reach out and touch them. The majesty of our planet keeps me in a state of awe.
