I grew up with horses, I had my own to ride and we showed them at horse shows every weekend in the summer. We went on two day trail rides and pretty much lived on and loved horses. So the Kentucky Derby was always watched and enjoyed. Still, today I love to dress up or at least put on a hat and watch the Kentucky Derby on TV. I'm just nutty that way. When I found this really cute midi romper, I knew it would be a summer favorite and the building of my Kentucky Derby outfit began. I ran across these amazing leather mules and the fun, "It's 5 O"Clock Somewhere" hat and pulled it all together with a denim and embroidered clutch. A little jewelry and I am off to the races! Mint Julep please!
