She She Said I Could

I follow a lot of bloggers that inspire me. They range in age from 20 something to 80 plus. I love how I can learn from them all. Last year I decided would be my last summer to wear shorts. For some reason I decided I was too old and had to give them up. Well after seeing She She Show wearing shorts and looking amazing I decided to heck with what society tries to tell women, I would wear them if I liked them! I encourage every one to check out She She's blog, she is an inspiration!

Any hoot . . . This post is my first full on shorts outfit of the season. For here it was a very nice day. It was sunny and upper 60's. When the sun is shinning here, upper 60's can feel almost hot. So I picked out a pair of shorts and paired them with a beachy sweater. This sweater is an off the shoulder that I wear all year long. I have been loving the style of wearing a pretty bralette underneath so tried it out.  A pair of neutral suede mules and a tote completed my look. It was a perfect transitional outfit!

How are you transitioning into the warmer weather?

Now for boring stuff. When my kids were growing up eating out was not an option. I cooked every single meal and one of the things I made the most often was pizza, probably once a week. I had a dough recipe that took about 5 minutes to put together and I would throw on toppings and bake and everyone was happy. My kids have grown and left home but I still make this pizza. I have the recipe memorized and I enjoy the fond memories that come along with it.

Thanks for stopping by!

Peace!
