Seattle Fashion Show

THE OUTFIT

I put this outfit together for a fashion show I was attending in Seattle over the weekend. The dress was supposed to be dressy chic. I read a few articles and learned that mostly you should dress your style when attending a fashion show, you are not in the show just attending. So you should be comfortable and reflect your own style. The articles almost all noted that the shoes and the bag were the most important part of your outfit. So here I am in my version of dressy chic. My dress is vintage bought at a thrift store a few years ago. It is so nicely made with all sorts of fun details, including pockets. I wish you could see the quality and detail of this dress because my pictures do not do it justice. At any rate it definitely reflects my personal style. I was particular about my shoes and bag and was able to find exactly what I envisioned in my mind with these Ted Baker platform heels and the Arc bag. My only jewelry was a pair of beautiful chandelier earrings in a rich green stone that I purchased in Mazatlan Mexico many years ago. I These pictures were taken when trying the outfit on to see if I liked it so my hair wasn't done. I think I will go with a straight style the night of the show.
