Matching Bag & Shoes
THE OUTFIT
I rarely match my shoes to my bag. At most they might be in the same color family. But a couple of time this spring and summer I ended up styling an outfit that did just that. It looked right to my eyes so I went with it. For this outfit I knew I wanted skinny jeans with a simple black sleeveless top. This top is anything but simple, I wish you could see the detailing. It is a satin material with a transparent underlay and neckline and zips down the side. Its old by Coldwater Creek. I also have it in gold. Both were fun finds at a consignment store several years ago. Anyway, next I added a tan belt. Immediately I knew my old leopard Louise et Cie shoes had to go with this outfit. And then I spotted my leopard clutch. I thought to myself, "no that is too much." But I grabbed it anyway and my eyes rested and I said yes! So here I am breaking one of my personal rules. That's me, a rule breaker! Ha Ha!
