Styling My Boot Cut Jeans

the scoop

As we all know, trends in jeans come and go. A style will be strong for years and then finally fade away. The one style that I have noticed never goes out of style is the boot cut. The pair I am wearing in this post is a few years old and just as fresh looking now as when I got them. They are from White House Black Market @WHBM . I loved them so much I got two pairs and wish I had bought more because I think they will wear out before they go out of style. I was able to find the exact ones to link up below. I may order them for a backup! Ha ha!

my look

When I want to look a little dressed up but still wear jeans, these are my go-to jeans. When styling this outfit I wanted a dressier top so I wore this light weight cream colored one. It is a tunic and long so I used my trick of tucking it into my belt loop. It defines my waist a little and controls all the extra fabric. I wore a pair of navy heels and carried a leopard bag. For jewelry I layered a couple of delicate necklaces, added hoop earrings and a watch. I was done and ready for a nice spring evening.

P.S. I got my hair cut and am having so much fun with it already! This graduated cut is my favorite of all the styles I have had over the years.
