the scoop

I'm on the prowl for spring fashion! And I think I am on to some really fun new things. I thought I would share what I am loving right now that will take me through spring and summer! So excited!

Most of these things were something I dabbled in last spring and summer but I am seeing them bumped up a little on the style scale. First, scarves.  I wore them around my neck, wrist, in my hair, around my waist and even tied on my bags. This year they have some fun shapes and sizes so I tied one on the handle of my bag for a fun twist. Second, platforms. I am going crazy over these platform sneakers. They are so cute with jeans, shorts, skirts, and dresses! Obsessed. The next thing I am embracing even more fully that before (if that can happen) is tunics. They have such a casual relaxed vibe but with all the colors and styles they are a major staple for me.  You can wear them with the hem out, assorted tucks or even as a dress if they are long enough. Fill my closet please!

my look

In this look I am wearing  a tunic that buttons half way down in neutral stripes. I did a front tuck with this look but sometimes I pull the hem through my belt loop on the side. Perfect anytime top. My jeans are Lucky Brand skinny cropped jeans, shoes are platform Steve Madden sneakers and I'm carrying a Tory Burch tote with a scarf from target wrapped around the handle.  You can see the care tag still on my scarf. For some reason I hate to cut those off but I think I will have to in this case. I'm wearing a white watch and Kendra Scott turquoise earrings to complete this look.
