the scoop

Remember the Rolling Stone's song Waiting on a Friend? Well that is just how I felt when I met my friend in person for the first time. We were put together virtually for a campaign one year ago called the Fierce 50. We hit it off immediately and have stayed in close contact every since. Luckily we both ended up in Phoenix at the same time and got to meet in person! Her amazing husband Rob was with her and let me tell you, he is so supportive and wonderful.

After we screamed and hugged like nuts we started talking and didn't stop for hardly a breath. I felt like I had known her for years. We always suspected we had a lot in common but we realized we had even more than imagined. I am hoping we get the chance to see each other again soon. I'll be waiting on a friend!

Make sure to stop by Jodie's Touch of Style to see why I love this girl!

my look

I think I spent more time getting ready for our meet up than I do on date night with my husband. Knowing how we both love fashion I really wanted to look nice! I wore a Tommy Bahama shirt, 7 For All Mankind skinny jeans, Sam Edelman platform sneakers and a Lucky Brand jean jacket, cause darn it, it is still chilly here in Phoenix! I carried my Tory Burch bag put on some bracelets, big hoop earrings and my Mexican fire opal necklace and boom I was meet up ready!

I'm seeing and hearing that floral prints are going to big again this spring. And these platform sneakers are going to be big hits in footwear.  Jodie and I didn't know what each other was wearing and we both have on floral prints!
