Sheer Tops

So A sheer top you say?

I usually don't wear them because the need to layer underneath adds bulk that doesn't work on my short frame.

But when I saw this top it was so beautiful that I thought I would give it the old college try! I found a nice fitted little white t-back tank and hauled it all home. All the while thinking I wouldn't be able to pull it off and would be returning.

I styled it with my long and lean flares and my platform shoes and SHAZAM! I think it worked! I can't tell you how pretty this top is, with the navy color and white dots and flowers. It has big bell sleeves with a split and a sharks tooth hem. It has it all and screams spring!

It was just fun putting it on

I felt sassy, comfortable and bohemain all at the same time.

The trick I think was the form fitting tank and the longer jeans to help balance my body. Also choosing a sheer top that was the perfect fit in my shoulders and length just hitting the tops of my thighs helped. My white cross body bag was the perfect bag for this look. I had to have a glass of wine to celebrate my success in making this sheer tunic work!
