Can you believe that summer just made it to the mountains! Almost the middle of July before our days hit the 80s so we can wear shorts without major goosebumps! It still drops down into 50s at night but the days are long and sunny. 

I am in the middle of setting up our other house so my posts will be kind of lean for the next couple of weeks. I'm type A enough though that I doubt I will miss a post but they may be short and sweet. 

No shopping links today. Everything is old. The top came from Costco though.

These were burmuda shorts but the length just wasn't working for me so I cut them off. I have a rule for the length of pants that's right for me. I like them always to hit just the the narrowest part of my leg. So for shorts its the narrowest part of my thighs, for skinny jeans it at the thinnest part of my ankle. For flares I like them to hit the floor! 

I wore my shorts with this cute top I got at Costco. It is one of those tops where the fabric protects you from the sun. It is nice for me since I am out in the sun a lot, the extra protection is nice. Mostly though I just like the fun dash of splash! I wore an older pair of Tommy Bahama flip flops in navy. They have the cutest gold pineapple on them that I love. My bag is another thirfted straw bag in my collection. I few years ago I found several beautiful, in perfect condition straw bags at our local thrift shop and I have used them non stop in the summers.
