How I Wear A Boilersuit

The Scoop

I got this Boilersuit a couple of weeks ago when I saw it on IG. I instantly loved it! The color is so my vibe and the fit and style work for me. It is comfortable and cute. I could wear a multitude of different shoes to change the look and will be doing just that all winter. It’s the perfect garment for Arizona winters!

It has cooled down a little more here but still just about perfect. Chilly nights with warm mild days. Sunshine all the time. We went for a hike yesterday and it was amazing. We have a mountain close by that I have hiked since the early 2000’s. It has changed a lot due to lots more traffic than when I first started hiking it but it is still just as challenging and beautiful. It takes us just about an hour to go all the way up and come back down. Sore legs today, I can tell you that.

I’v been pretty good this week with doing either a 30 minute weight training workout at the gym, a hike, or yoga every day. Plus I take the dogs on three walks a day. They love to be outside and we just walk along so happy and at peace during our walks.

I have found a way to add my daily required fruits and vegetables into my diet. I make a smoothie with whey protein, banana, blueberries, spinach, almond milk and sometimes oatmeal and chia seeds. I sometimes swap the fruits out for oranges or apples. But I make sure to get my servings for the day in. I usually have this for my first meal of the day because I have read whey protein is more efficient if you have it earlier in the day.

My Look

I have always adored the look of a Boilersuit but have never had one. This one is a fabulous rust color and buttons down the front with a fabric belt. I fastened it a little to the side for more interest. I added a tan hat and leopard heels and wore some of my favorite jewelry. I carried my Clare V leopard clutch which I think I have used more than any clutch ever.

I just ordered another Boilersuit in denim, well two really. One from Nordstrom and one from Target. I thought I would compare the two and just keep one. There is quite a price difference. I will link them down below so you can see them.

My pictures are so boring inside our tiny condo but I hate dragging all my camera equipment outside trying to find a private place to take pictures. I am going to try to venture out next week though. I got my thrifted Christmas tree up though so I have a little bling going on!

Jigsaw Puzzle

I know I must seem a hundred years old but I love to do puzzles in the winter. I can never sit still for a minute and I wear myself out so early in the day. I have found that working on puzzles relaxes me, helps me restore energy for later in the day and is a bit of extra creativity for me. I love to read too but I fall asleep within five minutes if I sit down to read. I got this puzzle last weekend and here is how far I have gotten.

What do you do when relaxing?
