The Scoop

Today I was out doing my morning walk and crying. Tears were rolling down my face right out in the streets where anyone could see. This is not like me.

It’s been about three months since I posted last and I have not been in the best place. And isn’t that just life, full of ups and downs? I am not going into details because I vowed long ago to keep this space positive. It’s supposed to be my happy place. And at the end of the day, it’s things we all go through at some point in life. I will say that my mom was very ill and still is and my dog of 14 years is failing and suffering. I spend a lot of my time nursing my dog and worrying about mom and wondering how I can fix things and make everyone and everything better. Truth is nothing is going to reverse.

I thought putting my blog on the back burner for a while was the best thing but I see now that it is good to have an outlet that takes your mind off your troubles and lets a little sun shine in. So gang, here I am.

My Look

My life right now is very casual. We are in Arizona for the winter months and we mostly hang out with our kids and grand kids. We have participated in a couple fun charitable events and went to a fabulous lecture series down town. Visiting with friends and neighbors has been on our agenda too. I walk every day, do yoga and take my sick baby for very slow walks because he still loves to sniff and pee on everything. Ha ha.

In this post I am wearing a pair of button fly jeans (linked below), a white body suit (linked below), and a thrifted black blazer along with sneakers (linked below). I am carrying a belt bag (linked below).

I was excited to get a body suit to try out. I remember when they were popular many years ago and I did not like them. If you had to pee it was such an ordeal. It doesn’t seem to be an issue for me now. I also am loving the belt bag. They are so cute and functional which is was I am going for.

Below I am wearing boyfriend jeans, a tee that says Dog Mom (linked below) and a waffle knit cardigan (linked below) along with a present to myself, a pair of Golden Goose sneakers (linked below).
