Classic

The Scoop

I was looking at something online at Nordstrom and noticed a top that by now is considered a classic. Each year this tunic comes back and they usually add new colors. I knew I had bought the same top several years ago so I looked in my old photos and yes, I had it in black as far back as 2016 and the cream one in 2017. And I still pull them out each year. They never wear out and they never go out of style. I decided to share how I like to wear it.

These pictures were taken at our house in the mountains which at the time we stayed in almost all year around. We had our condo in Phoenix but only spent a couple of weeks a year there. I sure miss taking pictures in the mountains but we will be there next month for the summer. But it will be our last time if our plans go through. We are getting it ready to put on the market. Our share why and what’s next in a later post.

Black Tunic

This tunic in black is so pretty. It is light weight so you can actually wear it year around. I wore it with boot cut jeans, leopard booties and carried a leopard bag. Everything in this look had stood the test of time. I was wearing boot cut jeans as a teen and almost my whole adult life. Leopard bags also are stand the test of time. I still have every piece of this look and I still wear it just like this. That fun silver statement necklace is also a classic made and bought locally.

Cream Tunic

Here I am wearing the tunic in cream, the same boot cut jeans and the same shoes but in Navy blue. I always tuck the hem of this tunic through my belt look to give it more shape and it is long enough it stays just fine. Other bloggers have name this the “Tucker Tuck.” Ha ha. I carried my favorite leopard bag again. These looks were taken a year apart. Looking at these pictures reminds to to pull out these pieces and wear them next time I have a Zoom Happy Hour.

Zoom Happy Hour

My husband and I have been staying home since the first week of March. I am ok with it, as it is so important right now but I am really missing my sons and their families. My youngest son called me and noticed how down I was and organized a family Zoom Happy Hour for that very evening.

We had so much fun. We all made up appetizer plates and had a drink and talked for an hour and a half. We couldn’t believe how fast the time went. We have decided to make it a weekly event!

Have you tried Zoom for family events? Let me know how you are connecting with family and friends. I ready to explore them more.
