The other day I was talking to my son and we were saying how we don’t watch TV. Its all just boring to me or shocks the shit out of me. My son is just like me and even though he’s much younger he feels the same. I don’t like to watch TV and be uncomfortable. You know the feeling? I told him I would give anything if I could just run MTV from the 80s in the back ground. When I was raising my sons in the 80s I had MTV on in the back ground all the time. It was so fun to listen to and I loved the videos. I still can sing every song of that decade. Ha ha.

When I found this tee shirt it brought back such good memories! I had to get it.

Stella My Other Baby

You can see Stella peeking at me down there. She is my other baby. She never used to shadow me like McCall did until he died. Now I think she thinks it is her job and I also think she is lonely. She is ten years old and only known life with him bossing her around. I am trying to give her extra attention and she has been such a comfort to me. I always said McCall was my soul and she is my heart. Thankfully she is very healthy and we take lots of walks and naps together as well as run and chase and play each day.

My Look

So this tee is from Target as are the shorts and sweat shirt. I love all the bright happy colors and the relaxed style is perfect for a day at home, taking walks, or running errands. My shoes are from Nordstrom and Oh gosh they are comfortable and so so cute! I think I might need them in more colors! The target items may say temporarily out of stock but if you put in your email address they will let you know when they come back in. They always seem to come back pretty quickly.

My Tan

I have been in the valley for the last few days and I didn’t bring my camera so I am just doing selfies in the mirrors with my phone. It is raining and only about 60 degrees today so to combat the doldrums I decided to put on some self tanner and dress like it was 80 degrees! You know the old fake it till you make it? Anyway I have used the same tanner for years and I love it. It tans you immediately. The game changer was getting the application mit. It puts it on so evenly and looks so real! I use the mousse a couple of times a week or just when I want a tan and then I use the daily firming moisturizer after my showers.
