The Scoop

This week I really went all in on my diet and fitness. I have shinsplints from hiking and I’ve I lost a couple of pounds. I initially had ten Quarantine pounds to lose. Slowly I have worked my way down but still have six pounds to go. I must say I have tried everything in the book and my tried and true formula is fewer calories in than out. So I cut back far enough on calories and increase exercise enough that I lose. I can lose fast if I am diligent and really push it but I have been taking a day off every few days and letting up. Not enough to gain back anything but enough so I don’t feel deprived.

My dogs Tucker and Stella love to go everywhere with me and they love to take walks so I got a stroller so I could go the distance I need but when they get tired they ride in style the rest of the way. We have even taken this thing out on the trails here near our house and it works great. It was not expensive as far as dog strollers go but well worth the money. Stella my older dog can go a good mile at a time. Little Tucker is mostly into rides right now.

still staying Home

We are still be very careful and realize it will probably be our way of life for a long time. But we have really learned to navigate our new normal until it almost seems normal. In the picture below you will see my husbands organic coffee bean order from Costco. He is very picky about his coffee and finally found some he likes. We buy most everything in bulk from Costco.
