The Scoop

So we had two nice days this week and then it dropped back down into the 40s and 50s and starting raining. Ugh. It even snowed again on Sunday. But I was able to get a few outdoor pictures in while it was nice. I am going to give my posts this week a theme. It will be Free People because each look highlights a favorite piece from that brand. I have always said it was one of my favorite brands because it is the 70s all over again and I loved the fashion then. It’s totally my fashion vibe!

On another note gang, did you notice I changed my title on the blog to Life and Style Over 60? Yes, now that I am sixty we’ll see what life and style looks like for me going forward. I’m kind of excited because to tell you the truth it is a bit of a struggle dealing with aging skin, body weight changes and so much more. But it is also an opportunity to share how I navigate, right? I don’t use anything but natural products, no Botox, Retin A, etc. I have tried those things and they just caused me more issues than helped. But I will always be on the lookout for anything that makes me feel better!

My Look

I’m wearing a Free People top that is crazy cute and comfy, flared jeans, a hat and an old Tory Burch bag, my very first one of hers and then very old Born wedges. My necklace was bought last summer and I wear it probably the most right now.

I have had several of these free flowing Free People tops and they are so nice for summer. They are made of a light weight fabric and they go with everything from jeans, to shorts to skirts. I wear this top a lot and love the casual look.

This hat is a blogger’s favorite. It seems everyone bought it this spring. I got mine while in Arizona for the winter. It is another item that goes with everything to just elevate a look a little.

Long and lean flared jeans have always been my jam and these have been worn so much. They are so popular they bring them back year after year. They have a little stretch and I sized down because the ran a little big. I also love the dark wash but I see this year they have a light wash too.

Love this top so much I ordered it in the light pink also linked. And the red top is so gorg! I sized down in the jeans from a 4 to 2 and in the top from a small to extra small. Both items run a little large.
