The Scoop

We are holed up here in the mountains lately and falling into a relaxing and peaceful routine. Its always so busy most of the year with taking care of the place but once we get all the annual chores done we get to enjoy the fruits of our labor.

I spend most of my time thinking about the outdoors. What can I do that takes me outside. I’ve had so many beautiful trail runs, hikes and walks. I am also thinking a lot about our health, which means cooking healthy meals, cutting back on wine and meat and getting plenty of sleep. I guess I find I am actually practicing self-care without really thinking about it.

My Look

In this look I started with the pretty pale blue top that I saw on several blogs this spring. I decided to wear the top with cutoffs since we were having a nice warm day. The sandals are from last summer and my gosh they are so comfortable. They are Marc Fisher a favorite shoe brand for me. I wore my straw hat and carried a straw bag that I got at a local thrift shop a few years ago. For jewelry I wore the topaz necklace I have been wearing a lot this summer that was a gift from my husband years ago. I had a nice blue theme going on here.
