The Scoop

I am the most at peace when I am outside in nature. These pictures showcase some of the views from our home. I am literally standing in my back yard.

It is gorgeous but there are a few critters to be watching out for. I won’t be out here much in the summer because of Rattle snakes. We have King snakes also which are good because they eat the Rattle snakes. We have the cutest Quail, bunny rabbits, coyotes and Javelinas.

Today I saw my first Javelina. They are abundant in our neighborhood. I saw it while walking the dogs. It just stood an looked at me while my dogs went nuts. I didn’t have my camera so no pictures but I won’t make that mistake again. I guess the babies are so adorable. One of my neighbors described the adults as so prehistoric looking and I must agree. They can smell very well but have poor sight so if you keep your distance they are non agressive.

Next week I will work on a couple of posts but expect to back in full blogging mode by the 1st of the year. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays with a newsletter each Sunday. Sign up for this once a week letter that only goes out to readers who subscribe to the list. I share a little more of the personal side of life and although I link the weeks’ posts, the letter is all new information, not a repeat of the posts.

Thanks for stopping by!

Peace!
