Pantone Colors Spring 2021

The Scoop

Hello Tuesday. I have sort of lost track of time lately. My weekend was spent dropping off Valentine’s Day gifts to the grand kids and visiting with the families in the yard, social distancing and with masks. And you know none of us really even noticed the new normal, it was just good to see each other and say hi. It was so hard not to be able to hug the grand kids. They are young such a short time and I feel like I am missing all the baking cookies and making paper dolls moments. But we are all healthy and getting by so I am grateful.

Today’s post it about adding a Pantone color to a spring wardrobe. This year the colors are called Ultimate Gray and Illuminating. Grays and yellows and I am fascinated with how beautiful these colors go together. I would not have thought to put them together but seeing them is so pleasant to my eyes. I immediately relax.

In this post I am wearing a pretty yellow shade in my top. I have had this top a few years but it’s the perfect shade for spring’s pantone color pick. Plus its just a pretty and comfortable top. I wish I had a pair of gray pants though. Argh that would be so cute!

My Look

My fun yellow top has a faux twist front and it is a soft light fabric with 3/4 length sleeves. My jeans are my “go to” jeans the last couple of weeks. I think they will be for the whole of summer too! My Steve Madden wedges are basic that will never go out of style and I have had them for several years. My bag and hat were acquired this past year and will be fabulous for spring and summer this year. I think the bag is out of stock now.

This whole look makes me to excited to go home to the mountains for summer. Gosh that’s at least a couple of months away! There is five feet of snow there right now.
