Paperbag Waist Jeans

The Scoop

This pant style is entering its second season. I started noticing it last year and that’s when I got these jeans. I am so glad I did because they are so comfortable and, a something new silhouette. I’m sure I will be wearing these a lot this spring and summer. I am thinking bright colored tops, hats and all sorts of sandals.

My Look

Everything is old in this look but you can still get most of it at least in similar styles. Check your closet first though, you don’t know how many times I see something I like and then check my closet and I have something similar waiting to be styled.

I’m wearing a scalloped sleeveless top. My jeans are of course the star of the show, perfect paper bag waist jeans. My sandals are platform with striped soles and leather upper and I have worn the heck out of them the last couple of years. My bag is extremely old. I am thinking about 15 years. I love that I have kept it so long. It is that trendy tiny bag look that is so fun right now.

Create Your Own Look

I searched around and found some amazing options for creating your own look, if you don’t find what you want in your closet. When looking in your closet find a top that will comfortably fit tucked in and that has a fun neckline or detail. If you don’t have paper bag waist pants a pair of oversized high waisted jeans with a belt nice and cinched would be so cute. Then sandals that have a distinctive sole would be perfect and lastly grab your smallest cross body bag.
