The Scoop

It was a gloomy day on Tuesday. Temperatures only got up into the low 50s and it was dark and cloudy. I always feel sort of dark and cloudy on days like that so I decided to get dressed and make an effort to feel good for the day. And of course getting in my closet to play dress up did the trick.

I also really played around with my camera trying to find fun and an interesting angles for photos. Lately I have been working on taking pictures reflected in the mirror. These turned out really fun.

Anyway here I am doing another surprise post this week. I usually only post on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and then I do my Sunday Newsletter. But this week I have been doing a post a day.

By the way if you haven’t signed up for my Sunday Newsletter I hope you will. We have a small community built around this Sunday email about 500 strong. My Look

Shopped my closet here. I have been really getting rid of things lately. It seems things don’t fit anymore or they are worn out or they just don’t fit my style so if they don’t sing to me they are being donated. It’s nice to lighten my load.

For this look I wore a pair of wide leg white slacks (Express), a white bodysuit (Nordstrom), a pair of Tory Burch sandals in tan and I carried my Spring tote (Vince Camuto). I also wore my favorite tan tassel belt. It is too big now for my waist but I just pulled it through without hooking it and it worked ok but you can see it sticking out a little. I wore my mixed metal assortment of jewelry that I have told you all about a couple of times. You can read it here under My Look.

My hair was actually styled today by moi, instead of my lazy pigtail look. Ha ha.

Create Your Own Look

My look is all old, but mostly Express. I love their slacks and body suits and have several. I have the pink margarita wide legs pants on the way to my door and linked them along with lots of options for wide leg pants. The spring colors are just off the charts pretty. If you can’t tell I am obsessed with wide leg slacks for spring. Most are on sale.

I also added options for bodysuits and I linked my exact bag and some of the other colors it comes in. My googly eyes! Below is a picture I created of ways to pair the slacks and bags.
