Twin Sets For Spring 2021

The Scoop

So I have been wearing these black wide leg pants every week since I got them. They are so comfortable and cute and I feel a little normal when I dress nice for the day. I think I have said this before but I am so over the sweat suit phase I was in. I still wear them to exercise but then I am done.

My “go to” outfits this past month have been wide leg pants in black, tan or spring colors. I get to wear my fun heels that at a few points over this past year I thought I would never wear again. I love the new high waist style but it took some getting used to and some changing of my wardrobe.

With high waist pants I needed shorter or cropped tops and I had none. I have scooped up a couple and they are just the cutest. I also wear tie front tops with my high waist pants which is another way for me to pull them off. I have a very short waist so I thought this high waist trend would never work for me, but I’m liking it now that I have figured out how I want to style them.

I think I want to get a pair in a short length so I could wear white sneakers. Wouldn’t that be the cutest for summer?

My Look

I am wearing black high waist, wide leg, lined slacks. The lining is what makes the lay so beautifully. I pair them with a sweater set in lilac and a pair of sandals in the same lilac color. I am carrying my leopard clutch and wearing my mixed metal jewelry combo that I have talked about a lot.

I colored my hair over the weekend. I have used the same color since I was 21. It’s called Golden Blonde. I am wearing Kiss nails that I cannot believe I did not find them sooner in my life. I get a nail glue that you brush on and my nails have lasted over a week now and I am hard them. So I am impressed. When I get tired of them I can pop them off and go natural or put on a colored set. AMAZING new find for me.

I’m linking exact nails and glue along with some other finds that I am testing out. I will do a post on these products as soon as I have used them for a month but after two weeks I can already say they will be a staple for me. The hair color like I said I have used since I was 21. I use the golden blond most of the year but sometimes in the summer I use the light golden blonde. Oh yes I also linked my favorite lip stick called Pink Peony. I have worn this for years and pray they never quit making it. I try to buy a couple at a time to keep stocked up.
