Spring Outfits for Cold Climates
The Scoop
After spending the winter in Arizona it was a rude awakening to come back to the mountains and the very cold temperatures. But I am not about to let the cold keep me from dressing for spring!
I love a challenge and creating a look that both keeps me warm but has the essence of spring is fun! I spotted this faux leather jacket hanging high in my closet and the wheels started turning.
The other day I watched an interview with Christy Brinkley and she was wearing a white jacket as a top. I thought she looked so fabulous. So yesterday (Monday) I wore a white denim jacket as a top. Now I see a trend for me for a few weeks while I wait for it to warm up here.
My Look
I’m wearing a fully lined (warm) faux leather jacket in a blush pink (spring color) as a top. I wore a pretty pink lace bralette underneath and let it peek out just a little. What is more spring than pink and lace?
I wore a pair of high waist, wide leg jeans, a pair of wedge sandals in nude and I am carrying my most recent tote. I am amazed at how this tote goes with almost everything I own! For jewelry I am wearing a pink pearl necklace ( a birthday gift from my husband a few years ago.) I am also wearing a stack of multi colored stone bracelets.
Create Your Own Look
I’m wearing Levi’s, older faux leather jacket for a top, lace bralette, Marc Fisher wedge sandals and carrying a Vince Camuto tote.
I am linking same jeans, same tote (on sale now) and several faux leather and other jackets in spring colors that would make great tops!
My sandals are the same style as the first pair linked, I linked other similar Marc Fisher wedges on major sale.
Thanks for stopping by!
Peace!
