The Scoop

Happy May gang! It still feels like March here but I am not losing faith! Warm weather is just around the corner. Meanwhile I get out each day with a jacket on and do my hikes and yard work, play with dogs and watch them check every corner of the yard.

We are spotting Trilliums on our hikes so that means the Morel mushrooms will be popping out soon. And our annual Robbins are sprucing up their nest on our front porch so we can help protect their eggs and babies until they leave the nest.

This is an ongoing saga. Each year they return to their nest and lay their eggs and then the petitory birds arrive and try so hard to get the eggs and then the babies. We guard as best we can and help scare them away but most years they get away with at least one egg. It breaks my heart and I keep trying to help the mom and dad Robins. But we live in a wild area and that is the way of things.

My Look

I am wearing a fun sweat shirt that I got at Old Navy before I left Arizona. It made me smile and makes me feel like the sun is shinning even if it’s not. I got the joggers to go with it when I am lounging around the house. I wore a old pair of way too big now, girlfriend jeans from the Gap and my fabulous nude pumps! I shared with you before that I am loving the little baguette bags so I am carrying mine.

For jewelry I am wearing these really cute wicker earrings. They came in a pack of four and they are not high quality I will warn you. But they are so darling and perfect for summer style. My bracelets are dupes for some very expensive ones but they are a really nice quality and such fun colors!
