Kimono Time Of Year

The Scoop

There is so much going on here right now. We are preparing to go back to our home in the mountains for the spring and summer there and that requires so much planning and preparing, it seems to take weeks. Meanwhile I am still enjoying squeezing in time to post on the blog. I love sharing basically my outfits of the day and what’s going on in my life.

Before my mom died, for the longest time I would write her a letter every single day. She lived over 1000 miles away and she loved getting old fashioned letters. Writing you all reminds me of being a pen pal. I just wish you all could write back! I still love to send and receive snail mail letters.

My Look

I am so happy that I keep going into my closet and finding things that are used and loved. This kimono is I think three years old. I have shared it before. It was really inexpensive but the colors make my heart sing. I have a lot of things in the orange color family. It is really one of my top two or three colors if not number one.

In this post I am wearing an all white look (again) and then adding my colorful kimono and these beautiful wedges with a soft orange leather. They are old but still available to buy and oh the other colors they come in are gorgeous. My bag is a year old and so fun for summer. You can find them almost everywhere this season. Same mixed metal jewelry that have talked about in most of my spring posts.
