I think wide leg pants are so elegant. I love to look at old pictures like the one below and think about when it first became acceptable for women to wear pants. When I was in school I remember my sisters (twins) who were five years older than I, weren’t allowed to wear pants to school. They were only allowed skirts or dresses but when the mini skirt came into style they decided that pants were better than mini skirts so started allowing them to wear pants. They were in high school by then. I was lucky to have mostly missed those dress codes because I was never one to wear dresses. I still prefer pants to dresses to this day. I think I will try to recreate this look soon. Isn’t she fabulous?

My Look

I got these jeans this past winter and wear them every week. They are so comfortable and stylish. I wore a black bodysuit and a black bell sleeve cardigan tied at my waist with the jeans. A pair of black slides on my feet and a wicker clutch completed this look. I am wearing a very old necklace that has always been a favortie of mine.
