The Scoop

I’m so excited about this weekend. I am getting a hair cut and shopping inside stores! Woot woot! I am on the search for a bikini. Yep you heard me right. I haven’t worn a bikini since my 20s. I always thought I looked awful in any bathing suit, especially a bikini. But we are going on vacation on the Oregon coast next month and I am wearing bikinis on the beach!

I have been working hard on getting fit and continue to do so. I no longer am going to let anything or one make me miss out on the freedom one feels in a bikini. As I turn 61, I will be in a bikini on the beach at the ocean. It’s a surprise for my husband, he doesn’t know my plan. Now I just have to shop for bikinis. That will be fun too!

My Look

I am at the peak of mountain casual style here. On the day I write this post we will be in the low 70s but most of the time we are only in the 50s and 60s. It’s fun to combine a long sleeved Moreno wool top with distressed jeans and sandals. This wool keeps you warm when its cold and cool when it is hot.

I am wearing old girlfriend jeans from the gap, a very old black top (15 yrs), old sandals, a fun ball cap (from this post) and a cross body bag, also old. I’m wearing my trusty gold choker and OMG you guys after this shoot I realized I had two different earrings on! haha.
