Day Dress Trend
The Scoop
So I read everywhere about the lastest summer trend, the Day Dress. Most I have seen are very billowy, oversized or just too much fabric for my taste. They do look amazingly comfortable which I think is the point. Everyone is searching for stress free comfortable style after a long tense year. I totally get it.
I wasn’t really looking for a Day Dress when I found this one but when it flashed on my screen I was immediatley drawn to the Bohemian vibe. I loved how it had a relaxed style but still fit. I was really attracted to the colors too. These are my colors!
The day this dress came in we were planningn on going to the a resturant on the lake called The Water. This place has amazing food and you sit right outside on the dock over the water. I knew this would be the perfect Day Date look!
My Look
With my new Day Dress I wore a pair of tan mules, a straw hat and a straw bag. For jewelry I wore a layered gold necklace, gold hoop earrings and a beautiful bracelet my grandson gave me for my birthday (BTW I turned 61 last week). It is laced with moss agate and amber stones. I found the pefect nail color to wear too. It’s called Midnight in Moscow. This is such a beautiful color; I will be wearing it all summer long.

This dress which I got at Nordsrtom sold out in several sizes before I could get it delivered to my door! But I found it at Macy’s in all sizes! It is true to size. I thought it would run small because of the brand and ordered a medium but it is a little too big so I am returning it for the small. Bottom line this dress is fabulous!
I’m linking the dress, same shoes (mine are from Nordstrom but they are selling out), hat, necklace and earrings. And I am linking similar bags. I also linked my exact nail polish.
Linking up with Walking In Memphis In High Heels and The Fashion Canvas!
And with Shelbee at Shelbee On The Edge.
Thanks for stopping by!
Peace!
