The Scoop

When I first saw this dress online I thought it was so fabulous, especially for summer. When it arrived in the mail though and I saw it in person I was even more excited. I think this is my favorite shirtdress ever! The print is fun but it comes in other colors that are so tempting to get. I mean the white one would be crazy cute too. Or the tan and white striped, oh my!

As soon as I opened the package, I tried the dress on and headed out the door with my camera on the tripod. And the pictures just made me love the dress more. Besides being so comfortable, it is so striking and makes a splash to the eyes! And I can think of so many different ways to wear it.

I am thinking white sneakers, no belt or white mules, no belt, or in the fall booties with a denim jacket. Oh gosh the options are endless. And hats, oh all the hats that would be so cute with it.

My Look

For this shoot I decided to belt the dress and wear black mules. It does not come with a belt but a few weeks ago I got an assortment of belts that I seem to wear non stop. The one I have on here has a black pattern on it and seemed perfect! I went with gold earrings and choker and the cutest black and white bracelets. I am wearing a set on each wrist.

P.S. This is a well made dress too. I spilled coffee on it while taking these pictures and took it straight to the washer so it wouldn’t stain. I washed on gentle in cold water and hung it to dry and it looks new again. I am dying for the green version of this dress but it is out of stock. Argh!
