The Scoop

My posts will be short and sweet for a week or so. We have company coming and I’m enjoying spending summer down time. So fun to have grandkids around this summer!

Even though we are in a record breaking heatwave in Idaho, it is still really nice up here in the mountains. Wild flowers are everywhere and it is still so lush and green. Our days have been in the 90s but our nights drop down into the 50s and 60s. I am spending as much time as I can outside enjoying this beautiful enviroment.

My Look

I am wearing the cutest polo style dress in a perfect weight knit, not too heavy or thin. It is so stretchy and forgiving so it is the most comfortable dress I own. I must confess I love it so much I got it in black and cream. The orange color is more of a sorbet color and it is gorgeous IRL. It comes in so many fabulous colors and every size you can think of. In the fall I will just throw on a denim jacket or a blazer and still be wearing it! I can even see my knee high boots with it! Yay!

I’m wearing Tory Burch sandals that I have had for several years and I’m carrying a Vince Camuto tote that I got in the early spring. It goes so perfectly with this dress. And the sandals are just the perfect casual style I was going for.
