Bermuda Shorts Style and Life Update
The Scoop
We sold our mountain home and now it’s time to start executing an exit plan! We are so happy to start planning and working toward new adventures. We have a couple of months to get things packed and settled up here and then it is off to the desert for the winter!
We have loved it here in the mountains for about 20 years but it was starting to feel like the home owned us. We were always working to maintain things and we want to be more free for the next phase of our lives. We want to live near the grand kids and family and make new memories!
Needless to say I won’t have as much time to blog. I am hoping to move back to my three posts a week but if I feel overwhelmed I will cut back more. At any rate I will be back to full speed no later than October. I will keep you posted.
My Look
In this look I am recreating a look from a few years ago. It has always been a favorite for me. I’m wearing DIY Beruda shorts made from an old pair of boyfriend jeans (AG), a white tee (Free People) and an old light weight duster along with sky high sandals (Ted Baker) that you will have seen many times over the years. My bag is a thrifted wicker bag that I have loved for years too. My belt is also old (Brighton).
You can see I am back to my pig tails. It seems since I am always working these days, this hair style is the quickest way to do something fun with my hair. I am so glad my stylist kept some length to my hair at my last cut so I can still wear them.
Create Your Own Look
I made my own Bermuda cutoff shorts. I have found I like them the best when I use boyfriend jeans, I don’t like tight shorts. These jeans were way too big since I lost weight but they work perfect as shorts. So if you feel a little dangerous you can do your own too!
Linking lots of shorts options. And then some tees, duster and sandals options.
Thanks for stopping by!
Peace!
